Purchase conditions

Gestion Traiteur, Inc. ("GT", "we", "we" or "our") welcomes you and thanks you for using our solution to place your order.

We are delighted that you have decided to access and use our services, which consist of our online ordering platform, accessible through our clientele websites.

We provide our services to you, under the following terms of use, which we may update from time to time without notice.

By browsing public areas or accessing and using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these Terms of Service and the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference (collectively, this "Agreement"). If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not use the Services.

Who do you buy from

GT acts as an intermediary for restaurants (merchants) who use our Order Solutions, hereinafter referred to as the "Establishments". When you purchase an item or food from an Establishment located in Canada, GT manages the online ordering directly from the Establishment's website. Your order goes through GT's online ordering solution which collects payment on behalf of the Establishment via a secure payment gateway. Each Establishment has its own merchant account and provides returns and refunds in accordance with their own policies, terms and conditions of sale.

Payment methods

We accept several payment methods to meet your needs. If the location you are ordering from is located in Canada, GT accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Price and availability

Establishments that use our Solutions to sell items and food are responsible for setting prices, which means that we do not price items and food, nor do we determine or assume responsibility for the delivery method (such as ordering to take out, home delivery, ordering at the table and / or rooms, ordering on terminal). In addition, we do not manage the Establishment inventory. Therefore, we do not guarantee that the items and food that you order on the Establishment's website via the online ordering tool set up by GT will be available at the time you purchase them.

Confirmation of orders

If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page and / or an email and / or a text message) after submitting the payment information, if you receive an error message or if you experience a service interruption after submitting the payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm whether or not your order was placed via GT or with the Establishment's customer service. Only you could be aware of any issues that may have arisen during the purchasing process. We will not be responsible for any loss (monetary or otherwise) or delay in delivery of your order if you assume that an order has not been placed because you have not received a confirmation.

Application fees and order processing fees

Items and food purchased on the website of Establishments using the Solutions developed by GT are generally subject to an Application Fee per order and / or a non-refundable GT order processing fee for each order made through the Solutions. In many cases, delivery costs charged by the Establishment or a third party will also be due. In any case, if you do not wish to pay the Application Fee per order and / or the non-refundable order processing fee for each order, you can place your order by phone directly with the Establishment.

Verification of billing information

All orders are subject to credit card approval and verification of the cardholder's name and card verification number, also referred to as the CVV (Cardholder Verification Value) code. Some of our Establishments also use the VBV (Verified by Visa) and / or MSC (MasterCard Secure Code) system in order to prevent and limit fraud. We sometimes receive incorrect information about the credit card holder, billing postcode, CVV or VBV / MSC. If it happens, it will block your transaction and prevent the processing and delivery of your order. The Establishment will not receive any error message or notification that your order has been refused, as GT will not be able to process your order. You will receive an error message notifying you that the process has not been completed and you will not receive any confirmation email for your order.

Delivery options

Different combinations of delivery methods may be offered by an Establishment, depending on factors including the location from which you place your order or your geolocation in relation to the Establishment. However, it is important to note that GT does not deliver and does not assume in any way the delays and the conditions of delivery. GT displays the options offered by the Establishment based on the information you make available through your browser and / or your mobile device to allow you to choose from the options offered by the Establishment. Here are some of the options generally offered by Establishments that use GT's Online Ordering Solutions: take out ordering, home delivery, table or room ordering. ** IMPORTANT ** To pick up your order at the counter or upon delivery, you must present the credit card that was used for payment as well as a photo ID. These pieces of identification are essential to be able to receive your order. Restaurants reserve the right not to release orders to anyone who does not have these parts.
